Brr, minus 29 celcius this morning, with the wind chill, feels like minus 41. To cool for camping

Hugh,

I'm just south of you by Grand Forks. I gotta get a van started that hasn't been started for about 2 weeks and a tractor going so I can hook up a snowblower. I think our high will be -6° F. today and I heard some more snow mid week. Last night was -16°. :snowstorm:

Yeah it's a chilly one for sure, at least it's sunny though. This is where it doesn't matter Cecius or Fahrenheit 'cause they are about the same (-33F).

That's insane. I'm not gloating in our Arizona sun either. I've lived in AZ for 13 years but I was raised in Michigan. Your weather in Canada was passed down to Michigan like a pair of second hand shoes that never fit quite right on me. That's why I finally traded those suckers in.

No what's insane is they are forecasting -1C by Friday. 34 degree shift in temperature - although I don't mind it when it's going that way. Our average temp for this time of year is about -10C

I can cope with it, but I sure feel bad for my little dog who loves to be outside in the snow and can only take about 5 minutes if that today. We haven't been to the dog park since Friday when it was a balmy -20C.

I hope it warms up soon, I'm going to be in Montreal for New Years Eve. It is cold enough for me down here, I went for a trail run in freezing rain, slipping and slidding in the mud. But at least here it isn't cold enough to burn when you breath.

You got the weather I want. My TD is build for it and I would love to test it in that temp.

If I finish my TD in time I'll proberbly make a little test tour to northern Sweden in Jan/Feb ´10 hoping they'll have temp. around that. If it gets too cold I'll just go home again
