...didn't havvta slow it down to come to that conclusion...seemed obvious to me...but then, I do tend to be VERY skeptical of such things......

Yeah me too. I call fake on this easy. In fact it's been all over the web and that's the easy consensus too. Now people just applaud you for how real a fake looks, that's how common fakes are now.

Reminds me of this one that went across the country some time ago. "The Bus Dodge" video.

:NC Huh? She didn't "make" the video? Simply stating what is with the video wasn't an attack on her? We all love Roberta, she knows that. :lips:

Careless, he should have known the schedule. Having done various types of inspection for 20+ years I always knew what was happening. And ya fairly good reflexes.

My Favorite Fake!

Postby eamarquardt » Wed Dec 16, 2009 7:01 pm

My favorite fake is the one of the stunt plane landing after the wing on one side fell off.

A friend of a friend said he and his flight instructor used to "practice" one wing landings!

When I was taught to fly, the emergency procedure for wing failure was simple: jump (out of the T34) or eject (out of the jet)! No thought required!

Cheers,

Gus

The video sort of reminded me of this one:

Ok, no trains but a bunch of close calls.

Having worked on the rail I can assure you as crazy as it sounds you won't hear a 70 MPH train before it gets to you.

We followed very strict precautions, were always in radio contact, and we were told when to "stand down" before the trains were allowed to pass. Even then, when you knew they were comming, it was frieghtening how they could get to you before you heard them.

One of the guys on my crew watched the below accident happen and could do nothing to stop it. The two men had their backs to the train and just got ran over.
