Gifts you would love to give, but Don't have the guts to

For me that special someone is my daughter's home room teacher, Sister Maria. Sister Maria is about as big as the Vatican. After seeing her I realized why churches have double doors. Sister Maria has been giving Hannah a hard time since school started. She really has a problem and it is so bad that I have had to explain to Hannah over and over it is not her, it is the unstable teacher.

I would really like to give Sister Maria an electric razor.

So, what would you give that special someone and why?

I would like to send congress some scissors ... to cut up the country's "credit cards" so they can't spend anymore. :o

I did that for Christmas in 2000, but it didn't work. They used the scissors to cut my boss' taxes, threw them away, and spent like drunken sailors. :(

I can think of any number of interesting gifts to send my ex-wife...

To get this thread back on track

Postby Carter » Fri Dec 18, 2009 7:47 pm

In the spirit of the season I would like to get this "What gift would you like to give" thread back on track.

I would like to give Sister Attila the Hun 50 wacks on the bottom with the same board she used on me for no reason. That injustice was 50+ years ago and I still remember it vividly.

Happy Holidays

I need a new Avatar. I'd put my dog up there but she doesn't look much like me. She's the skinny one.

The question on this thread doesn't specifically mention Christmas per-se. I cut out some cool Valentines card from MAD magazine in the fourth grade and gave them to a really mean girl in my class. They were great I remember, real cut-downs. She got PO'd and I eventually admitted what I did to the teacher. What a sucker I was! Shoulda kept my mouth shut!

I would give Sister Maria Bratwurst a bathroom scale adjusted, of course, to show an extra 10lbs. We had our own Sister Aqiunata. We learned of our teachers for the next year on the last school day of the previous year. I had a miserable summer between my third and fourth grades knowing that I would face her the next year. I got rulered several times. One kid in our class was the son of a successful hardware store owner that donated yardsticks for the school. One day Sister Aquinata busted a yardstick on this boy's arse. Then she told him to get a new yardstick from his father. She wouldn't even eat with her class. Meanest nun-women I ever met. Had some nice ones as well.

Most of my cousins in our Italian origin family went to Catholic school -- my part of the family became Lutheran after my Grandfather punched a priest in the nose (long story) -- or as he worded it, punched a priest in the snoot.

My Catholic School cousins graduated from high school, and stopped going to church. One got married on a beach, another in a park, and one got married in a 200-year-old chapel by a woman non-denominational minister.

Seems to me that Catholic School is pretty good at driving people away from the Catholic faith.
