We used to have one like that near here (mostly 50,s and 60's cars). It was packed tight with cars. But the owner died and rather than run it the heirs had an auction. really sucks because the guy had decent prices on stuff. The owner was one of those grouchy old guys that took a little getting used to, but after you did he was a really decent guy. It was one of those yards where you found the car, got the owners permission to get the parts you needed, then took the parts off yourself. I used to enjoy just going and looking.
If I could shut my brain off, I could save myself alot of time, money and effort.

Went to an auction fall of '08 in Southern Indiana for an estate of an old gezar that died, had been collecting autos from the 30's, 40'and 50's, never sold any, not even a part off of any. Auction attracted buyers from all over country. Now most of these cars and trucks were sooooooo rotten, they were being re-posessed by the earth. I mean ruuuuuuussssttyy!! Air , where the supposed to be metal. Kinda touch it and it falls off!! And they brought huge dollars from the buyers. Most of them I wouldn't have wasted the gas to push over a cliff. I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder!

That's the way I feel about my wagon. So much I have done and so much more to do before it's finished. And then there is the Fiat. They are going to be the last for me. After I finish with the KIT I'm rebuilding and the Field & Stream I'm restoring, I'm going to restore one more KIT and then leave retirement and go back to work in Aerospace and rest.

Back in the 60's and 70's, all of the older kids in my neighborhood built serious muscle car hot rods. That was also a time when you could take a drive out in the country (all over the country) and knock on doors when you spotted some gem just sitting in the weeds on someone's farm, etc. With a small offer, it was yours. The owner all too happy just to have someone take that "junk" off their land.
