I've driven about a dozen of these. How does your commute rank. :(

I was surprised to see I've experienced 14 on that list. I guess the traffic really was that bad

Ahh, but my husband's commute is 4 times as long as mine. Mine is two blocks. His is eight. Oh yeah, the whole town is only 16 blocks with one stop light.

# 3 The Beltway just plain sucks!!! Lived in Manassas for a while and the exit to 66 would line up over a mile most days unless of course you shot up to the front and wiggled in in front of someone not paying attention!

# 30 The infamous Parkway... another road that just generally sucks. Someone has to explain to me the logic of zipping thru a tunnel at 60 and slamming your brakes on 40 yards from the end so you're doing 30 when you come out the chute! Thereby backing up the entire road behind you!!!

# 69 Dayton is a treat! Inlaws right off of I 75 and everytime we go I manage to hit rush hour.

Been on more than a few of the others but these are 3 of my favorites!!

Today they closed 66 for about 15 minutes for a motorcade. I was stopped on the connector road from the Dulles airport toll road. People tried to run up through the emergency lane, just to meet up with a state trooper at the end of the line of cars. He had a busy, but profitable, morning.

I haven't been on time to work since before Christmas.

#22 Atlanta - - For 5 years. I could pick my hours of travel though.

Now that I'm Retired, the Appalachain Hwy through Blue Ridge is my greatest commute challenge. You just wouldn't believe it when the "leafers" come up in the fall to buy Apples!!!!!!!!!! ;)
If it's not broken, you're not trying hard enough.

Yep #3 -

I drive that each day. No wonder I go into the office before human life get's on the beltway. But - God forbid it rains - or snows or (fill in the blank) the beltway will come to a screaming halt..............

Have A Great Day.

#20 Philadelphia Schuylkill Expressway.

A lot of the traffic is at the upper end and traveling south in the am and north in the pm.

I'm lucky, my travel on that road is just the opposite direction/hours.

Its still a pain.

Happy Trails

Hmm, mind isn't on the list. Fifteen miles usually takes me 10-15 minutes. Last week following a snow storm I drove the whole way in the wrong lane(2 lane highway, the right lane was drifted snow)never saw another car. This morning 30 minutes and I never made it out of the driveway, had 1/4 freezing rain overnight.
If I could shut my brain off, I could save myself alot of time, money and effort.
