...hey everbody...I'M BACK.............

Postby madjack » Tue May 04, 2010 12:27 am

...and about time...even if I do say so myself...it has been a really strange few months for me, as I have become a full time (grand) dad to my 11yr old granddaughter...the reasons for this are too Peyton Place to go into but it is a fairly typical story(I'm told)...since this situation is not appearing to be getting any better anytime soon, I decided to reclaim a bit of my (debatable)life...SOOOO, to everyone who voiced support and concern...THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH...it meant a lot to me.................

MJ

I had no idea that's what you were going thru, but hang in there, things have a habit of settling out. We're great-grandparents, and we still have them hanging around. It never really ends. But it DOES smooth out some.

:woohoo:

Welcome back to one who made me feel right at home here one year ago...! Months later, we were...

:scratchthinking:

..."Where'd that boy git?"

Missed you. :lady: I understand when "life" keeps us from doing our favorite things and hangin' w/ our favorite (and not so favorite) people, so... good on you for doing the right thing!

(You'll be pleased to know that when I joined here I had been out of work and had no extra dough to begin building a teardrop when I desperately wanted to... one year later after being back at work and having put in some hours I'm slowly assembling the bits to begin making the chassis and suspension for my 4 X 4 X 9 teardrop... and it's profile drawing is 99.82763% complete! I just have to tweak one line...)

Again, welcome back, madjack, and it's nice to see yer avatar'd mug up here on the monitor.

:campfire:

hope the new life circs don't keep you from visiting Palo Duro / Caprock Canyons / Copper Breaks.

We've acquired a pop-up. I may get to camp more this year, but the shakedown cruise was a winner. :)

Missed ya, fella. Good to have ya back.

Hopefully, life is starting to settle down to a dull roar for you and all will be well in the future. Be happy and enjoy this opportunity to love your grandaughter as though she were your daughter.
