Ah yessss.....the spring clouds of pine dust! A drawback to living in the woods. Any slight breeze brings clouds of it down....that's not sawdust on the truck. SNIFFFF.... Doug

Let me send some of mine, it's something else...Juneau pollen...Now if we can only mix in a little forest fire smoke, and a swarm of locust...

That's not pine dust... it's pot pollen. Says so right on that windshield.

There are handfuls of conifer down here in the El Lay basin... and each spring, late, we too get our cars dusted, although not nearly as bad as you have it, being there in the thick of things as you are.

:NC

And just a few months ago, every single parking lot (where one could actually notice this) was covered in a fine layer of brown silt. Couldn't keep any car clean for longer than 10 minutes. Silt the result of brushfire/wildfire ash, then blown topsoil. I'd never seen it that bad.

Ah, the things we notice once we're a little older, have been around the block more than once and when we try to take care of our vehicular inve$tment$.

Doug, we had the pine pollen at least a couple of months ago...I suffer terribly from hay fever and it seems it gets worse every year...this year I tried a generic version of Flonase and for the first time in MANY years, I didn't suffer from it...two thumbs up for Flonase...YAYYYYYYY.......

Here in Maine the other day a big breeze came in from across the lake where I live. A cloud of pollen came bursting through the trees and looked just like a sandstorm like you see coming at you in movies. within seconds we were in a fog and everything was coated.
Conform and be dull.
