Pretty snazzy just not something I'd want to spend $1,295 on. Looks like you have to change blades for crosscut or rip. I worry about placing the fingers so close to the cutting edge. It looks like it would come in handy for small projects like picture frames, segmented boxes etc. It would be great for someone living in an apartment or condo.
Thanks for posting. :D Danny

I don't know, I think I prefer my good ol' fine blade, table saw with an acurate slide. Mayby not as safe, but probably more accurate. Just my 2 cents..............Roly

The blade design appears to be the same one on my Japanese hand saw. Most Japanese wood working tools cut on the pull stroke and the saw has a very fine kerf and gives a very fast cut. A cross cut saw will go through a 2X4 in a couple of strokes.
Re: cutting your self, it aint power but it is super sharp and you can do a LOT of damage. Since there is no off set on the teeth you can use a steel square against the blade to get a cut.

I like it! My "workshop" is anywhere in my house I can find the space. Sawdust is the worst. This would not send it flying all over the place.
