Decoupaging a camp table - I REALLY NEED SOME PICS

I found one of those empty wire spindles and want to use it for a small camping table. It is a perfect height to use next to my camping chairs.



I have a couple of sheets of small glass tile that I'm going to put on the top.



I was going to wrap rope around the spindle to finish it off but decided I wanted it to be special and here is where y'all come in. I would like to decoupage it with pictures of my T&TTT friends.

If you would like to be included "on the table" please send me 4"x6" or 5"x7" pictures of you camping, standing by your camper or gathering pictures. But, it has to be in a cepia tone only, not color. It doesn't even have to be on photo paper...plain paper is fine. Put a caption if you like...the more personal the better. If you want, you can email me the picture(s) and I can print them off at work in cepia.

No, actually it's lighter than it looks. And yes, I'm planning on taking the camping table camping.

Great idea. I wonder if some pictures of large gathering would do well. Faces might be small. I can get some of those too so keep posting

Great idea.... As you have heard the "Cherry Drop" is decorated with Mary Englebreit.... A friend gave me a day by day calendar that I cut all the pictures out, then decupaged it with scrap book paper onto two folding card tables.... they turned out great.... not sure how well they show up in the pictures of my album.... but you can kinda see them.

you may add alittle scrapbook paper with your photo's so they'll show off better.... Can't wait to see the finished project.

Pam, is that the card table on the last page of your album? If you can get a close up shot I'd like to see it. My daughter n law is a big scrapbooker and I know she has some things I can use on my table project.

I have to admit, I read this thread just to figure out what the heck decoupaging was. So lets say, you put a bunch of pictures (what you want us to send you) on it, then cover with some sort of clear resin, am I on track???
