How many of you guys and gals are on facebook? I have just started and it's fun...not as much as T&TTT, but fun... 8)

maily is a contact point if someone is looking for me....has helped a couple of times with old classmates.

I have a FB page, I joined to keep track of what my 11yr old going on 16 granddaughter was doing/watching/talking to...I found a better way to track her usage...I reset her password to something only I know and sign on for her (or as her)...as a result, I no longer goto my FB page and to all who have sent me a "friends request", I am not ignoring you or slighting you, I simply don't go there, so I don't accept any friend requests...I wast....errrrrr spend enough time here and elsewhere that I really don't need another spot to spend time perusing...........

I just dumped Facebook. I found no redeeming value at all. E-mail works just fine for those people I care to keep in touch with. I found it to be a piece of crap actually.

I dumped facebook too. It sucked up too much of my time.

Been gone a year now and I don't miss it one bit.

I'm on the facebook. I find it handy for parties and stuff. It's also good for emails that I don't want at work or even on my computer. I realise that I could get another gmail account, but I don't want to remember too many passwords.

FB is a time waster. You end up spending too much time talking to people you shouldn't. :)

I can see where one could spend too much time on facebook, and I most likely do. But, I spend too time on T&TTT, so WTF. I don't work, and I do my chores.

So far I have connected with a lot friends that I don't just sit down and email or call. Now there is where you really piss away some time, making calls that you just can't get off. I hate the telephone...

Let's give it a while and see if and when I tire of facebook. Thanks for everyone's comments, it does give me a different perspective.

I tried to friend you but I got lost in the search. I'll try again. I have a work colleague that grew up in Clyde NC.

Previously I had found a youtube clip about how the university in Boone is hot, hot, hot. even when it's cold, cold, cold. He was embarrassed and amused at the same time. I'm not trying to embarrass anyone ,it's very funny if you can find it.

Hi notned,

I will check out the video...our youngest daughter and her husband both work for App State Univ. They are in Chattanooga for the first football game today.

The App State football teams have been great. They won three national championships out of the last four years..not to bad...and yes, it is really cold around here in the Winter...The coldest I remember last year was about zero with wind chill -35 below. Not too much fun...

I will check with my son-in-law. He is in charge of video ads, etc for App State and see if his crew filmed this. He has shown several of the ads to us, but I do not recall if this was one he did, but I will find out.
