Was a big Dodger fan until 1981 strike when they asked the players union rep if he was worried about losing fan interest and he said it isn't about the fans it is about the players. Well even though back then ticket prices where cheap I did not like that answer and I lost interest. Bottom line it is the fans that make the sport.

I grew up being a "Yankee hater" so I always root for the National league team.

This year is different. Since the Rangers beat the Yanks and since Nolan Ryan is my favorite (ex) player, I'm going with the Rangers this time.

The Rangers were humiliated! in Game 2 - which included an epic meltdown of the Rangers' bullpen. It was a 2-0 game! for cryin' out loud.

Here's hoping the Rangers don't completely suck in their own stadium tonight.
