I started watching the movie Born on the 4th of July and I spotted a kit teardrop in the opening credits.
So who is the lucky one to own that trailer.

Now how can you tell? Am I missing something? From what I can see, it is a KIT teardrop which is a mfg'd teardrop no longer mfg'd except for copy's. :thinking:

You might be right Gage. I was on his website and saw several of his builds the yellow one looks familiar. not 100% sure but they all had that round cut trim in common. I looked on my bookmarks but must not have saved his site. I'll keep looking

Texas had black and yellow plates for a while back in the 50s and 60s. But the opening scenes take play in New York, which had dark blue and yellow plates for several years.

The movie was filmed more than 20 years ago, so it's going to be hard to figure out who it did and/or does belong to.

I have a couple 1960 NY plates that are black with yellow letters, and a 1962 NY plate that is yellow with black letters. Bob
