On the other thread, it was posted that Auntie M and family are okay but they lost their homes.

I don't think that was so much a demand as much as Paul expressing the urgency we all feel to hear that our dear friends in Joplin are ok....and I imagine this was posted before he found the other thread. No need to get bent out of shape. We all want the same thing here.

it was posted before i realized there was already another thread..this thread is irrelevent and could be deleted by the management with no hurt feelings.. 8)
actually this is an off topic topic because it isnt teardrop or camping related so the other one is actually in the wrong forum.... :thinking:

I don't think Slowcowboy meant to 'sound' bent out of shape. He just cares a lot. Besides, I doubt there is a way that Miriam can respond as there probably isn't much phone or computer-type service right now. At least her daughter got a message out and that is helpful. :thumbsup:

Just my thoughts, Miriam is probably a lot more socially networked then some people think, her/her daughter posting on facebook was probably a smart move, we had members here relay the messages, and I'm sure she has other online comunities she belongs to, and the same with them. Imagine if she was a member of a Knitting forum, imagine trying to get imformation posted there relayed over here, but, I bet she would have a few friends there watching her FB, and do the same there as her friends here have done.
