too much time in the bush

Postby D.J. » Mon Jun 13, 2011 2:16 pm

I might be spending too much time in the bush . I found a wood tick crawling on my coffee table that was absolutely beautiful . Its colours were bright and sharp and its shell looked like it was buffed with "turtle wax" . I was mesmerized . Then I crushed it with a spoon . ... D.J.

My Grandma taught me how to kill a fly and bring it back to life. Sometimes things got pretty boring on the farm. I would catch one and drown it real good. Make sure he's a goner. Them bury him in table alt and pretty soon he would move and eventually fly away. At 7 yo I thought that was pretty cool.

BTW, I went morel hunting yesterday and pick 5 ticks from me and 8 from the dog. Hate em!!
