Northern Tool Underwater Camera with Shore Monitor!

Postby IraRat » Mon Aug 22, 2005 2:49 pm

Of course, with all of the expenses of the build, I could never afford this cool $99 item from Northern Tool--a submersible, night image video camera that you lower into the water, with a shore monitor (b&w), all rechargeable.

Since I can't justify this expense at all, I showed it to my 9-year-old, who my wife CAN'T say no to, unlike me.

Tee hee.

I don't feel guilty at all, because maybe I can also position it to help hitch up the TD to the truck.

TOYS! I WANT TD TOYS!

Ooops--I apologize. Mad's right--it was Harbor Freight, in their circular.

Here's the link:

It looks like a cool toy.

That's one way of putting it, Joanne.

Me--I now feel just plain IGNORANT. More ignorant than usual!

I was worried about how to lower the cable into the water without snagging it on the dock.

Hey Ira,

With all that rain down there, you could use one of those camera rigs to find your house!

I read in another thread that everything is OK with you. Glad to hear it. You Florida folks are in our thoughts and prayers.

Hey......get back to building!

Thanks, Joanne--that's why I feel so guilty:

I AM building, and I had Chinese takeout last night while so many people are just dying for air conditioning and a cold bottle of water!
