How do you assign a mame to a URL? If I have a link to Home depot and I want "Home Depot" to apear in the text not the URL.

(url=http://www.WEBSITE)LINK(/url) Just replace the () brackets with the [] ones.

...Kai, type in " [url=" now paste your url so it looks like "[url=yourpastedurl" now click "]" and type the text you want so it looks like this "[url=yourpastedurl]your text" now click "close tags" at top and it should look like this "[url=yourpastedurl]your text[/url]"
or click url at top then click backspace twice then the = sign then paste your url then click ] and type your text then click close tags

it really is not as hard or as complicated as it sounds...try either way...oh and remember to leave out the quotation marks

What's with the big red 8?

Does this have anything to do with typing an 8, then a closed parens (like in a list) giving you the sunglasses emoticon on this site instead of the actual 8 and the paren?

I asked Mike about this in the Hurricane thread.
