For as long as we are able to defend it. This is what the framers intended the second amendment for, not for friggin duck hunting like some pols have tried to tell us during recent election cycles.

The thing that amazes me is, my dad grew up pretty close to Athens, and I was up there at least once a year, and I never heard of this until tonight.

I grew up not far from Athens and have relatives there that we visited in my early years. I had not heard of this story, either-except when it was posted on the Tearjerkers forum earlier.
