So has anything special happened lately where you live?
well in my small towof 50 lately :

So What has happened where you live lately?

With what has happened recently boring with nothing happening is not necessarily a bad thing. Metamora 4/10 of a mile south of the Michigan border claims something like 500 people (I think they had to count a few cats and dogs to get to that number) and the big news is they dug up part of our back yard to re do a sewer line from two of our neighbors over to the main line. At least it no longer empties into ten mile creek which it did for 30+ years.

My home is in a town of 200 souls, the BIG news is that of last Friday, there is a new cell phone tower on the corner! Right now it's just a status symbol, no cables have been ran. Will I really need an aluminum foil hat?

we have an arsonist (sp?) here. last i heard he/she has set 27 home fires. so far they have been to abandoned houses, or at least folks have not been home.

We got 5cm of snow and people forgot how to drive. My normal 20 minute commute took 60 this morning. Who would have thought that people who live in a city that gets snow every year, sometimes as early as the last week of October lose the knowledge of how to drive in the snow?

Well it hit 69 degrees here today, last Friday our HS football team won the state championship in there division since they won it 50yrs ago.

Where I live, here in So Calif, we don't think much out inclement weather. However, this morning when I took my dog for a walk, (or he took me for a walk), we happened upon some strange stuff in the gutter along side of the road. It was very cold and strangely very clear. I rushed home and looked it up, and low and behold, the strange stuff was ICE, Right there in the street in front of my house. I guess it has been so long since that happened, I must have blanked it out of my mind. I haven't worn a stocking cap since I left the midwest, and nowI am going to try to find it. My old ears just can't handle those 30 degree temps. Brrrrrrr!

we are up to 37 fires now. i hope they catch those responsible soon.

There has been a large bush fire down near Brisbane (again) and 20 homes had to be evacuated. The fire was set by two kids aged 11 and 14 who were both caught and arrested. The 11 year old has been released but the 14 year old have been kept in jail with no bail. This is not the first time the kid has set fires. I hope he gets what he deserves.

Ha! I am in that building a few times a year. I am a designer on the 787. I stay in Mukilteo when I go to Everett. I work for Boeing Houston area.

But Slow what do they do to make the news....Maybe you could change it around and try to get a positive interview for your walk the winds and try and promote the site on TV...that would be cool
