Hey Chris

Some of us here in Okie land are still awake. With 3 kids still living at home, this is my quiet time. To be treasured greatly! The house is cool, quiet, still. The cat and dogs are asleep. Kids are down, hubby is snoring, the tv is off. Now if only I were sitting around a camp fire, marshmallow on a stick, feet propped up on an extra piece of firewood, "girl"friends around...........oh well, maybe in a few weeks.

...Karol, a fire, a stick, a buncha marshmellers with friends...priceless

Just sitting back, being good and taking notes. Oh and I might add (probably shouldn't) that I'm getting a big laugh at some of the answers being giving by those who claim they know, over in the CONSTRUCTION TIPS & TECHNIQUES area.

Naa, like I said, just taking notes

Have a good day.

And yes, the site also seems slow to me.

I'm here. I work nights and people keep interupting. I hate it when work gets in the way of the really important stuff. I wish I could build my doors while I'm here.

It was probably quiet because the server was slow last night. It's better this morning!

Okay, I'M BACK!!!!!

Geeze! Thought it was something I'd said. Didn't think I'd stepped on any toes yesterday, but with only 5 other people on the site and all 6 of us had looked at my post, I just afiggered I'd been black-balled!

Thanks for the flowers about my avatar, Doug. That's the coin I cast and embed in my furniture as a signature. I engrave the date of completion of the project in the half-moon below the wood plane. I cast them in bronze, silver, and gold.............bronze for items of values up to $5K, silver for up to $10K, and Gold for furniture valued at more than that. It impresses my clients more than signing my name some place underneath in pencil as most artists do. I made one into a money clip for myself.
