I am building fiber glass molds. My goal is to eliminate as much steal in the trailer frame and replace it with fiber glass. The technical questions I am pondering are how to incorporate a set of wheels into a two or three pontoon configuration. Why pontoons? My thoughts are that they will provide strength length ways while increased basement type storage in side them. Also the shape will be areo dynamic on land as well as on water (faster).

Look at his house boat designs. Contact Jacques and he may even be able to give you some help with hull design. Bear in mind the pontoons will have less load capacity than flat bottom and will draft deeper with the same load. Also a flat bottom would actually be quite aerodynamic (think belly pan).

I had seen that boat tear before but I had not gone to his youtube video. After looking at that I came across something called the:

I am still trying to combine incorporate the wheels into the body of the pontoons. Also four leveling jacks that can be used in water.

Could you use some sort of inflatable airbag system that you could inflate using a car compressor for this, that way there is no steel to rust. Also could be used to aid bouyancy if you find yourself a bit low in the water cos of the and as you drink it you could let air out

Then there would be the danger of over inflation and the issue of being top heavy . . . something might have a tendency to keel over . . . but by then I would have to lay down for a nap making everything alright.

That would work as long as the fresh water sharks and the killer beavers were not at war with the Paraná. Another added woe would be the alligators and crocodiles thinking this was an Oscar Meir Weiner on a bun and come for lunch . . .

Gosh so many things to think about Oh well I guess it is back to perfecting the anti gravity hover craft idea. Just a few more thoughts . . .

build atop an ole john boat. flat belly hold lots of weight. you can weld an under carraige to so the wheels are incorporated. good place to start eh

I might have to change the name to, " The Round A-boat ".

There are a lot of talented people out there doing some interesting things. Those front wheel mechanisms on both your pictures might be what I am after.

I am researching Sea planes to figure out a way to enclose the wheels completely out of sight and dry. There are so many types of landing gear. Some land gear wheels turn a full 90 degrees from vertical to horizontal. I am trying not to waste and take up an awful lot of useful interior Cabin space

I am thinking to power the tear Boat with it's own motor on water via an inboard or an out board designated motor. The tow unit with all it's weight can be left on land. I've even thought of torpedo's and how those are powered. So many options and details to work through .
