Diesel Fuel prices

Has diesel fuel gone up all over or is it just up here?
We jumped up $0.20 to $3.39 for diesel today, but regular gas has gone down to $2.59.

I don't understand why there is a $0.80 difference when they are usually within $0.20 or so of each other. :?

Our TDI Beetle & Powerstroke pick-up used to be cheaper to run than their gas counterparts, but that sure has changed!

Regular gas in York, PA is $2.55 9/10 today. I was up in New York state over the weekend and paid $2.97 9/10 in Cortland  . I'm not sure what diesel is around here now.

JunkMan,

I Bought diesel this morning in North Florida, it was $3.29 and that wasn't at a major brand station. What I'm hearing is that there is a diesel fuel shortage, they have even resorted to selling dyed fuel for road vehicles. Guess there are still some refineries on the gulf coast that arn't back into operation yet. Glad I can do my part for the Oil Companies to make Billions of $$$ in profits this year. Wern't fuel prices regulated by the government at one time? (Guess in a way they still are)
