Things that don't fit anywhere else...

Loved your story, Slow. :applause:  :applause: Most all of us get messy from time to time. Then, something will happen to make us clean that junk drawer or look for that receipt. When a person gets down in the dumps, they tend to let things go even more. You've just been through 2 years of being down in the dumps. Take a breather for a day and rethink your strategies. (I think I'd get rid of that old television, though....)

I'm sharing this with my kids. Both off to college in three (yes, three!!!!!) Weeks. Then they take their mess with them and I sterilize their rooms. :):)

*Snort* Thanks for the laugh Slow! I hate messes just ask my husband. I like to watch "Hoarders" and clean at the same time. I HATE clutter and junk laying around.

(***...hmmm....I'm think I'll poke at it ...***)

Slow, it seems to me you're sort of makin' a case for not cleaning your room.....
I mean, if you had cleaned your room, then that mummy sleeping bag would not have been there, in which case, that TV most likely would have put the hurt on you.....I'm just sayin' :) .....it sounds to me like if a person is gonna have a messy room, then it a good idea to have a huge pile of clothes and various, assorted other 'soft' stuff lyin' around just in case....as a precaution, you know 8)

I'm taking a big risk here, but sorry to burst your bubble and all....... My Supervisor, some years ago said the very same thing as his off spring went to college (Uni here) @ the Boss reminded him " they come back, so don't get complacent, or make plans"
