Radio/electronics help needed

I have a (vehicle) radio (2006) that has a built in CD player, and a remote multiple disc changer.
I want to hook up my MP3 player to the radio.
There is no (visible) port to connect it.
I don't use the remote CD player.
Is there any reasonably easy way to do this?
I'm not an electronics person, but have a friend who could build or wire something up.
Replacing the radio is not an option as it is a special fit/custom radio for a motorcycle.

You could use an fm adapter, available most places. It works by plugging into the earphone jack and converting the sound into an fm signal that you then tune in on your radio. Sirius made one that would hook in between the antenna a nd thier radio. If there was an audio signal, it switched the feed to the modulator, no signal, the antenna worked normally.

Check Crutchfield.com. They sell a device that plugs into where the remote CD player or remote satellite radio plugs into most factory units. It uses some of the CD controls to select it and usually comes with 1 or 2 audio inputs that you can plug your ipod etc. into. I have done this to four of my past and current vehicles (Corolla, RAM 1500 , Trailblazer and Jeep). Cost was $50-75.

Look under iPod/iPhone/iPad & USB Car Adapters (USA Spec is one of the main vendors that they carry)

They also have good phone tech support so you can call and talk to them about what you want and they can tell you what will work with your vehicle. You can also use their web site and see what fits.
