Bank Of America..... so sad on Vets Day

Postby Vegabond9 » Sat Nov 12, 2005 6:25 pm

They fully ignored complaints earlier this month. Even denied they had a flag outside til I escorted them to the flagpole. They just didn't care. Still up and shredding. Emails sent to corporate complaining. Too bad I couldn't send this jpg, but they hide behind multiple red tape bundles. :x

THAT really STINKS. The way I see it, one of two things needs to happen. Either a group of concerned citizens needs to get together for a protest or same group take up donations and present the bank with a new flag themselves, along with sufficient media coverage to show how badly the old one was treated. :x  to BofA

One good thing I can say about my place of employment is that they put the flag up fresh at dawn each day, half staff when appropriate, and when they take it down they fold it correctly. We've had a couple of people have their reserve units activated and were assigned to the mideast recently. The company is keeping their insurance active for the dependents and paying a good portion of their salaries. I think that attitude rubs off on the employees too.

Obviously that bank's management doesn't seem to have much respect for the flag. Somebody probably said a year ago, "Ya know, we should put a flag up. It would probably be good for business." Little do they know..... :(

Vegabond9,

Get the commander and First Sergeant from your local Reserve/Guard unit to pay them a visit! You might be surprised at the results!

Did you know that the State of Oregon used to fly a flag one top of the Fremont Bridge,Started in 1976 and when it gets tattered, two men go up the arch tunnel, take it down, bundle it, drag it down and put it in the back of a dump truck and take it to an upholstry shop for repairs, they have two of them, been patched a lot of times. Not sure if it is still done, but seemed strange that it was done that way, thing was huge, and heavy, only did it on dry days after no rain because of weight.

Hmmmm, lets see here... maybe a touchy feely seminar to get in touch with our inner child so that we may approach a sensitive topic in order to avoid offending sensitive persons averse to the flagrant display of militantly imperialistic societies....

NOT!! Just take the flag down.

It takes senior management to replace the flag? :? Well at least you can pay your bills online. Some people just don't get it.

Sounds like the standard corporate HR run-around to me. I call them the "Spin Doctors" or "Professional Liars". Oh did I mention that my wife is in the HR dept?

:fb I often wondered why they changed the term Personnel Department to "Human Resources"...... I came to figure that out after working for several large corp entities....

The Human Resources department at times resembles animals more than people in their behaviors and felt the need to clarify that in fact they were people too. Present company excluded of course....

I bet your wife has the skills to rip em!
