Tony seems to cooled off since his early days. Well, not in the news for things like throwing his helmet at another car. I like him, he can drive anything. Who else has championships in NASCAR and IRL.

I read an article that said that he has a clause in his contract where they will not stop him from racing during his time off.

Tony was DE MAN this year...the way he turned his act around in a couple of years was nothing short of impressive...I hope some of the prima donna types take note...

I would have really rather seen Wallace or Martin (was really hoping for Wallace) get it but I can't say Tony didn't deserve it, they really worked at it to get there in the end. Was really happy to see Johnson finish as far back as he is, I would have been really disappointed if he had one.
The biggest disappointment for me I think was that J. Gordon finished 11th to get the million, any body but him puullleeaaase!

The blue deuce woulda been o.k. seings how it was his LAST CALL. I'll reserve all negative comments concerning a certain flamed red, blue DuPont car  Even though it woulda been nice to see the brown truck get to 11th but alls not lost only 2 1/2 months till it all starts again.
