the link is to a 3 min video...it took me 2+ min to d/l on broadband...the video was shot the first week of December, 13weeks after Katrina...St Brenard Parish is across the Ms. River from New Orleans and is know as the West Bank...this video shows how much needs to be done...the entire area...all the way to Biloxi, looks like this or worse...the song Louisiana, sung by Aaron Neville was originally done by Randy Newman(fas as I know) and refers to the 1920 flood...if you have the time, it is a very moving view of what has hapenned and what remains to be done.....

I was there right after it happened. I had to go for network restoration work. It was worse than you could imagine. We had to stay in Baton Rouge at some of our sites and drive back and forth between Baton Rouge and N.O
Really broke my heart as I grew up there. I don't think it will ever be the same.

All I can say is wow! I sure hope they figure out those levee's they've been talking about on the news all night.

I heard that song done performed a woman (I don't remember who) in the XM blues channel a few days ago. I immediately reminded me of Katrina. Now that I've seen the music and the images at the same time it is really moving. Thanks for passing it on.

Thank you, Jack.

It is important to keep the reality of Katrina in mind an d not let it morph into a memory.
