Guy,

Coldest it's been here in a month is probably around 20 degrees above zero and that was overnight. Really been a warm January this year!

I recommend a forced air furnace for those really cold nights...

I don't know where you would get them over there, but over here you can grab em here...

How Loud

Postby Guy » Wed Jan 18, 2006 5:48 pm

Dear Mike,

How loud/quiet is the unit while operating? Does the thermometer automatically control the electronic ignition?

Meelis, don't let a little cool weather stop you from working on your tear. Grab a sweater and mittens and get back to work.

For our friends in the USA and Australia - if you look at the map of Finland
and Estonia - Its only a 20 minute flight from Helsinki to Talinn
and 2 hours by Ship... So definitely were gettin the same weather as our friend Pedaal..there in Estonia..

:snow :snow

A thicker Sweater isnt going to help....

We decided to warm up the summer cottage Sauna and cut a hole in to the ice.... and go winter dippin.... anyone want to join us... :QM
regardless of the cold weather...But this sport is not recommended for folks with weak hearts...   Cold - Nooooo not at all. :dancing Pedaal come and join us... 8)

Mike just LOVES that heater of his.

I acted the same way about my electric panel--so did your wife keep looking at you like you were nuts too?

I spent two winters here in the Colorado mountains in an unheated hangar building my airplane. Now I am working in my attached (but unheated) garage building the Cubby. Today I used Henry's 663 to "glue" one side with aluminum sheet, and have two small space heaters aired at it. The temperature slowly came up in the garage, but probably won't hold well over night. The trick is lots of coffee available, and use good, insulated coveralls.
(On you, not the Cubby !)

Its snowy and 'icky' looking outside right now, but we haven't had any appreciable snow at all this year...but there's still time, and the mountains (I am about 4 or 5 miles from the continental divide) are just loaded with snow.
