Bomb bay doors on the roof, with the bed on a pedestal lift.
When the stars are out, you could flip the switch, open the doors, elevate the bed/yourselves upward and watch the stars....
It could also double as an eject bed when set on fast.

...I've dealt witha wet cat before...I think comparison wise it would be a piece of cake...unless of course it was a wet pole cat...dealing with 2-350# stippers would mean 2 very wet sloppy *******....(I just can't type it without cringing at the thought...thanks Steve)

Jack,
That's where the eject bed comes into play, just be sure to fasten your seatbelt...

yeabut...with 2-350#ers you had better make sure you had a wide open roof and extra heavy eject mechanism in place...besides which, you probably couldn't reach the eject button ;)

Not construction bad, but a bad idea:

Bringing stuffed cabbage, baked beans or tacos to the outing's pot luck dinner.
Here we go again!

As this thread is already 'Off Topic', I don't feel the least bit guilty at hijacking it. This discussion has reminded me of one that's been going on on an email list for strange motorbikes. This lady was riding her motorbike along a California freeway wearing a helmet camera when the car driver in the next lane decided to have an accident:
http://media.putfile.com/Accident96

The email list is concerned with a different, much safer type of motorcycle*, but it only took a couple of posts before one guy commented that he had never been 'rescued' by such a cleavage in any motorcycle accident he had had.......

Incidentally, the car driver afterwards claimed the motorcyclist had 'run into him', which is true in the strictest meaning of those words......
