Aint it cool... We start the season with the Super Bowl and all 43 teams play each other at once!
I gotta go with Tony.
He's the guy I switched to when my all time favorite, Ernie Irvan retired.
It would be cool to see a surprise winner too...
Like Bobby winning it for Petty would be cool...
Or Mark finally winning it would be cool too.
I just hope they can get it in without a 'big one' and without a frozen field finish.
It will be interesting to see what Nascar does on Sunday at the drivers meeting when they address the bump drafting issue.
I say get rid of the plates, take away the areo and let 'em race when they debut the car of the future.

I don't understand all the fuss over the bump draft. It's part of the race and if done the way it's intended (The Imtimidator) it makes for exciting races!!!

I'm going for Junior #8!!! Gordon LAST!!!

I haven't been able to keep up with it this season. Did Carl Edwards qualify? What time is the race on this coast? What network? I'm skiing on Saturday just so I can sit in front of the tube on Sunday for the 500! :R 8)

Dean, You said it all when you said that Bobby winning for Petty would be cool. That would be the coolest :worship: It has been way too long since that number 43 car has seen victory lane up close. We have an entire generation of NASCAR fans that never say The King race. Not to mention that Bobby is one class act himself and deserves a better car than he has had in a long time. All I can say this weekend is: GO BOBBY GO!!

I'll be cheering for my favorite, Kenny Schrader. I doubt he has any real chance, but that has never detered me before.

I'd really like to see Mark win it or Jarrett. Of course the wife is planning on Blaney winning. If he runs the way he did last night he should have as good a chance as any of them I suppose.

I think I'll spend 3 to 4 hours at the rotary watching the cars go round, and round, and round ....

Yeah, that sounds like a great time!

Not a martin fan but congrats. to him winning under caution.
Joanne Schrader would be cool. He is my underdog driver that I pull for.
as for big money team I'll go with Dean on this one "Smoke" being pushed by Jr.

It was neat to see Mark win the truck race, but I dislike the FFF. (Frozen Field Finish)

Joanne,
Kenny is driving for the Wood Bros. this year... I wouldn't be surprised to see him back in victory lane this season.

It doesn't happen that much any more. And by the way, who nailed Hornaday anyways. I've never seen that guy spin on a restart and I've been watching him for over 20 years (home town hero).

Have a good day.

...true but I don't care much for the green, white, checker either...personally I would like to see all race with a yellow at the end have a 5 lap shootout...2 laps hardly allows 'em to get back up to speed much less actually race...

I've been sayin' anything under five should be added to to have 5. Even if they have to add 5 to the end. That Gr/Wh/Ye just isn't a race in my opinion. I say race till it's over. Of course if you want to make it interesting, in the last ten laps of the race don't have any yellows, where you land is where you sit til the race is over, better hope you slid to the bottom.
