CHECK THIS OUT!!!

You have to go to the HD on Wiles Road and 441 in Margate, Florida around 9AM on Saturday and use the Haitian checkout girl in the garden center.

Not the really fat one--the one who's KIND of fat.

I was there, and handed her my receipt for 10 feet each of three colors of 14 gauge stranded wire...

And the total came to only 51 cents!!!

Don't jump on me men--this ain't Florida's highway system, and I TRIED to point out the error of her ways, to the point of actually bringing another cashier over to educate her.

Seems that she saw the quantity "1" in the item column, but the handwritten "10 feet" next to it didn't mean much to her. So 1 foot times 17 cents, 3 times, equals 51 cents total.

See? I can be honest too, and I insisted on paying the correct price!

To be honest though, playing with electricity, I didn't want to take any chances with bad karma.

Hey Ira...you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink...great description on the Home Depot "associate" really non PC, but I did laugh out loud on that one.. .hey, we all may think that, just afraid to voice it nowadays...and you didn't go back and buy another 100' of wire because?.....
