You are lucky. We (our part of Rio Rancho) have had enough rain to wet the top 1/8 to 1/4" of the soil. Hardly counts.

Friends a mile or so away had a downpour, though brief. Our rain gauge in the Jemez is not yet wet enough to register and report.

But any amount, anywhere in the state is an improvement.

Major heat developing here in the middle of Idaho. It'll be 100+ next week. 120-acre fire 15 miles west of the house. (But I think they caught it.)
