Latest fabric with tears and TT on them!!!

Postby doug hodder » Fri Mar 03, 2006 9:43 pm

I just got back from a meeting with a fabric rep...I couldn't believe it when I saw these!!!! Here are 4 new ones that go together...
Top...royal blue color way
2nd...cream color way
both of these are identical looking fabrics...this was all I could get for a sample, the cars are very recognizable as are the trailers...other cars that are not shown include 48 Ford Woody wagon, approx 63 GMC...a real variety of trailers...only 1 tear however, and it's a woody, on a background map of the US..
3rd road signs
4th vintage looking window decals approximately the same size as the original stickers...

Check your local fabric stores...manufactured by Timeless Treasures and ask for Dan C8982 royal or neutral...others are 8985 multi, and 8983 royal...

I'm expecting them in the next couple of weeks, I told them I wanted them for the upcoming season...fabric is bought as much as 4-5 months out...I'm buying Christmas now for next season..I also got some great looking muscle car fabric..Fords, Chevys..not real cartoony..good detail and very recognizable cars...When it comes in, if someone wants some I can cut and send, I only charge material price+ actual shipping $$...pillowcases take 3/4-1yd depending on size of pillow...guys XXL shirt 3.25 yds...curtains depend on the size of the window, but you typically buy 2x the width of the window..fabric is 42" wide, anyway, just wanted to let you all know what's new out there...Support your local fabric store!!! Doug

Cool, any fifties chevy pickups?
Junk is something you've kept for years
And throw away three weeks before you need it.

No 50 chevs on these, but I keep my eyes open...did have some old late 40's, early 50's Ford pickups a while ago...no Chevs. yet, but I thought it was pretty cool to find a Hudson on it...Doug

Thanks Doug. Tanya wanted me to go right out and measure the windows in the Santa Fe. Any ways, I'll be getting back to you in the next couple of days on how much of what (via PM). Meanwhile, nice fabrics. Even that Airstream is a 50's (except the tail lights are wrong). Ask me how I know.

Have a good day.

P.S. Hope you ordered a lot.

Yep, it's going to work just fine. Tanya is already figuring out what can be done to the inside of it. That's half the battle. I've already taken out part of the rear bunk and setting it up for a cabinet. Found the table top and now have to come up with a leg for it. Haven't even started trying to figure out all the odd ball wiring. Just may rewire. Then I got to figure out how to make the two side twin beds into a single full size bed.

Have a good day.
