Air fryers and pressure cookers

Postby Wrecit » Sun Mar 27, 2022 12:06 am

am the cook/chef in my family and been wanting to try an air fryer and I also needed a new pressure cooker. Went to Wally world tonight and they had the instant pot 9 in 1 6quart with air fryer lid combo on the shelf for $139. Wife said check on line and if it's a good price go ahead.

Well checked my phone and everyone had it for about $150 except Walmart that had it on line here

Went to service desk and asked if they would price match their own web site and they said sure. So I got it for the web price of $99.98.

If you were looking at these things go grab one before they change the web price, go to service desk and tell them to price match

That is just a lid that converts an instant into an air fryer unfortunately

We're thinking of building a cabin and I plan no range - insta pot to air fryer, a couple of induction plates, and a counter top oven.

We built a cabin over the past decade or so (actually still working on it). It's up in the mountains, isolated and peaceful. We don't use a range inside, we do have a microwave, air-fryer/oven countertop combo, crock pot and a Camp Chef oven/stove combo but it get's used on the back porch. An induction plate will come soon enough but I think you are on the right track! I also have a fire pit with built in grill, a Weber grill and offset smoker so I figure I can cook anything I desire with ease.

It's been a long journey from tent camping on our property, building a road and retaining wall, putting up a building, bringing out electricity, drilling a water well etc etc. Good luck when you start on yours, it has been a significant part of our life :)

Driveway in - 1/4 mile - cost of line to road may justify photovoltaic and batteries. Wish I could find a canal boat and just build a dock - no permits or property taxes!

Foresty Forest, my favorite Vanlifer, uses a Ninja Pot:

Yeah, I think he had kind of a lonely life until Rocko came along.
