Four Free Covid Tests From USPS

Postby halfdome, Danny » Wed Jan 31, 2024 3:28 pm

I paid $20.00 plus tax at Rite Aid for 2 test and then found this link https://special.usps.com/testkits for 4 free ones.
Some addresses are eligible of more free tests.
We thought it was kind of over until some jerk :frightened: coughed at me in Costco earlier this month.
Even though we have the current vaccination we still got it, it's not fun.
Be safe out there.

Hope you're both okay Danny.

Were still wondering if Shelly's dizziness and other problems this past year might have been long term covid, after we caught it in early March. (She had a relapse immediately after getting her booster this Fall.) Paxlovid seemed to help make the initial symptoms shorter for us.

Thanks for the tip on free tests.

Tom, My wife got Covid for a few days then was okay for 2 days and then got it again.
She tested negative tonight, :applause: we're fine now.

Thanks Tony.
Besides having the virus, the first day of my sickness I was backing into the driveway and screwed up and rammed/destroyed the garage door with the trailer ball.
I keep it on there for tailgaters and it's coinvent.
It It was over 25 years & it was $3,000 for a new R-15 insulated garage door, installation included.
I always back in since we live on a cul-de-sac and don't want to run over kids at play.
I now have some reflective rubber parking bumpers to stop the vehicles at a pre determined spot, should have done that years ago.

Paxlovid is about the worst-tasting medication I've ever taken . . . just awful! But, dang, that stuff worked. Nipped my symptoms right in the bud and 48 hours after taking the first dose I was feeling almost completely normal. Hope Shelly is OK; long covid is no joke.
