When first pulling up site problem.

Things that don't fit anywhere else...

When first pulling up site problem.

Postby Chris C » Tue Apr 25, 2006 5:12 pm

When I pull up the site, the first thing I do is click on "Posts since last visit". That covers every individual forum, so I don't miss anything going on. But I've noticed just these past two days that sometimes when I pull the site up and click on it, I get the same posts I got the time before, not necessarily anything new. Anyone else having this problem?

Same here Chris! I also had no new posts and I know that couldn't be possible over a 2-3 hour period! Not on this forum!

Yea, most of the time it says no new posts when I've already seen catagories highlighted.

yes, I have noticed it on occasion. I believe that 'puters and their attendant software have a metaphysical dimension that is unexplainable...and that is what is happening(sounds good to me)

..no, I think it more esoteric than that...an undefinable, unseeable quality that flows along with the electrons, looking for gaps in the code to surface thru, causing many common but unfixable/unexplainable glitches...in other words...THE GHOST IN THE MACHINE!!!!!!!!!!

That has happened to me a couple times. I've signed out then back in again to find the posts that didn't show up. I've also used a different computer and the MIA posts show up.
