Medicare part D will bite you.

Things that don't fit anywhere else...

Medicare part D will bite you.

I just got my mom signed up if you do not sign up before may 15 things will get worse. the fine is forever ... next sign up date is Nov 2006 and does not start until Jan. 2007
Mike if this gets out of hand I will x it.
I really think this thing was designed to kill off most seniors from stress and worry. If not signed on you may pay full price on Meds unless you have an insurence that will cover it . or live near Canida or Mexico.

Penalties for signing late are about double the present cost for the rest of your life ... or until a new Congress kills it.

Here are some sites that will help but few understand it.

I have never totally figured it out but my neighbor a laywer read the entire book twice and still did not get it.

I did not bring this up to get you guys rialed... I care about you and want you all to live forelive for ever.
I just want you to be aware
incase you are on Med icare or have a relitive who is.

I just have Medicare A & B. Didn't even sign up for D because my secondary insurance provider covers my prescription drugs ($5 co-pay).
As for the Medicare card. You mean to tell me that the card I received 2/1/06 won't be any good after 5/15/06. Wonder why they didn't say any thing at the S.S. office. Oh well

Have a good day.

I am so annoyed that as I age things get more complex. I don't like the idea of national health care, mainly from the expense side (our decificit spending is huge already), but I also don't like all these choices forced on me now that I'm a senior citizen.

Life used to be much simpler, really. Many more questions had yes or no as an answer....

btw, go here to make smaller URL addresses.... some are so long above we have to scroll to see the message.
