Slight computer Problem - Help?

Postby Classic Finn » Mon Jun 26, 2006 8:44 am

Im having difficulty with a Active X or component X showing up as a
problem all of a sudden.. I try to click onto a website and asks me if I want to use Axtive X?????????

Then when I click yes or no I loose the entire site....and it asks if I want to send a error report....

What is the cause of this ?

Never had this problem before....

Heikki,
I have a vauge memory of that happening on my old computer and it had Windows 98...
If memory serves me correctly, I'd delete my cookies, delete my temporary internet files and delete my internet history to correct the problem.
BTW- I'm not even close to being qualified to answer this computer question, but I did stay at a Motel 6 last week.
(Maybe Mike B. can chime in, he's the guy that would know...)

That's a good strart. Also, when it asks if you want to send an error report, click Yes. That will then connect to the internet and display a description (and possible solution) to your problem.

Okay I did all that and then for thinking it was cleared I still get the same result.....

Ok I tried to send an error report by clicking yes and then again 1 time no and the entire site closes down either way I try....
Ahhhh what exactly does the Active X or component do? Besides give a man boiling blood pressure
