Wiring tow vehicle

I just ordered the wire kit for my 2004 Camry from Etrailer. I figured out which wire is which on the car. Do I need to be concerned that the wires on the car are way skinnier than the wires on the kit? Should I go ahead and connect them according to instructions?

I'm betting that you have led tail lights. They don't use much electric.

If so your wiring kit is a converter that uses a power supply from the battery to power the trailer lighting. The wires you are connecting are sensors that tell the converter what to do.
