Lurker no more, newbie with power question

Postby trek2300 » Mon Jul 29, 2013 8:29 am

Hello everyone! Tried to search for an answer but didn't see one. Thinking and planning stages here with a question. I bought plans from Big Woody and I am reading very carefully. Their plans show AC coming in on the left (driver's) side. I'm wondering what you experience when you back into a campground pad... are most shore power hookups in a campground on the right or passenger side of the pad when backed in? It seems to me that would make the most sense to me.

I don't know when I'll start my teardrop, hopefully this fall or winter. In the meantime, I'll be doing a lot of research on here hoping to learn from you all!

Notice that almost all commercial campers have the door on the curbside? Most campground hookups are on the streetside (driver's side). Of course on occasion it can be on the curbside (passenger's side) but it's nothing that you can't fix with an extension cord.

Holy Moly! You're absolutely right. I blew that. Doors are curbside, aren't they? So I want shore power coming in on street side, yes?
