computer fans

Postby Ron Dickey » Wed Sep 21, 2022 12:55 am

I am building at Trolly top trailer. I am using Computer fans in the back of the trailer to keep the trailer cool or turn them around and draw moisture out. Some are from TV's the rest computers. one set will hang from a pole so I can flip them drawing air out.

I do some camping in Death Valley or southern California. So having a way to have hot air rise and be let out works best with a Trolley top trailer.

I am assuming I can run them on the usual 12 volt battery. Is there a better way to run them??

A small solar setup would run those fans all day, add an ordinary deep cycle battery and they would run all night too.

I have use two 180MM three speed Antec case fans in place of a Fantastic Fan with a SPDT switch. Now on our second pair after 14 years, and yes they work fine on the Tear system.
