DG, we used that exact same charger on a previous build...it is OK but it is a cheapy and I would use 12v as needed and use the charger daily to rechage the batteries...many of the smart chargers can be hardwired directly into the system and used like you asked but I could find no tech info on that charger, that states you can use it thataway...we hardwired it into the system but used a double pole double throw switch to control 120vac to the charger and 12vdc to the battery...as I stated above...it is a real cheapy....
