Another O2 fan question - *PROBLEM SOLVED*

Postby KDOG » Tue Jun 09, 2009 10:02 pm

I have the O2 fan I got at Walmart like alot of people here have and I intend to use it as a fan for the overhead vent. It didn't come with any power cord or puck. I'm assuming it would run fine off the battery direct if I can find the right plug end and a cigarette lighter adapter thingie. But what about a 110v outlet puck? Should I just go down to Radio Shack and pick up one of those general purpose powersupply pucks with the various ends and settings? I see the other thread where the guy put switches on his fan an I'm reading that too. Any other suggestions woudl be appreciated.

Just came out of Radio Shack a happy camper. Picked up a cigarette lighter adapter with 8ft cord and the proper plug end. Hooked it up and it works perfectly. Cord looks long enough for me to run it through ceiling and plug into an adapter near where I intend on putting the 12v power-box area. So I'm good to go...
