Looking for a 2 color LED fender/marker light

Postby Von Pook » Tue Sep 22, 2009 9:42 pm

I have seen a few versions of a (2) color (amber and red) LED fender/marker light. Yet they all seem to be rather cheaply made or are the size for use on a large truck. I am hoping to find a marker light unit that has both (red and amber) colors in one unit, and without a chrome surround, that way I can place it on the top of the tear fender. After towing the tear through the Smokies at night, I found that being able to "easily" see where the fenders are became quite important. Thank you all for your time. Eric

According to Federal Highway laws.... A amber marker on front of trailer, and amber marker at widest point of trailer IF over 80 inches and red marker at rear of trailer........

Why not just put a single amber marker on widest point of trailer (fender) and keep fingers crossed........ I have yet to see double color lens marker lamp on market but then again I have not seen everything ...

Some of the new LED lamps are quite "cool" have you looked at "truck lighting" in your searches (GOOGLE) ...
