Anything electric, AC or DC

It works

I had no idea what Woot was and now wish I'd ordered a second one that I'd give to #2 son for Christmas (he just bought a new computer with a wide screen).

I was the first on my block to get Windows 7. Contrary to others experiences, mine seems to be working just fine with Windows 7.

Anyway, I installed the ATI software and did something on line with Microsoft (I just allowed it to do its thing) and The ATI software works fine. I've just used it with the output of a VCR/DVD player on channel 3 but if it tunes in channel three on NTSC I think it will work fine with the digital channels as I imagine the output to the computer is the same from the USB stick.

I can't seem to get the thing to work with Windows Media Center in Windows 7. Read on the internet that it should work there too, but not for me. I'm not sure that Windows media center offers anything that the ATI software doesn't offer, but I like to explore all options. Any suggestions?

Cheers,

Gus

...mine finally made it, installed it on my little lap top and it seems to work OK with the supplied antennae...one problem though, when scanning for channels it goes about it's business untill it gets about 58% thru and comes to the CW channel...at that point it freezes and does a shut down, stating a problem with the main program...if I stop it before that point, it picks up and plays 6 channels...just wont go past the CW channel...guess it just doesn't like CW for some reason...........
