If only.....

You make this way to complicated, its only a couple of screws to take plugs apart and maybe 1 wire to move.....

Not to rag on you or put you down, but how do you survive if you can not do something this simple....

Simple is a relative term and you are being an ass. I'm sure I do things every day that you might find a bit unnerving. The reason why it hasn't been done is because I'm not sure that would solve the problem. Why was the hot wire wired to the center post on the TD? When i break open the plug, what will I find already wired to post #4 on TD and F150? If I find something, what then? Do I just break out the tester and go through every post and every light to see what comes up? Too many questions. If it was so simple, I wouldn't have needed to ask for assistance here.

You have been told at least a half dozen time what the solution is by half a dozen people and you fail to grasp the concept presented to you in simple english and you call me a ass......

I may be a ass, buy your name calling puts you lower on the intellectual scale than me!.....

I sir no longer feel inclined to help you and I hope others feel the same way....

Dale, you started with the insults. I just replied in kind. Go back and reread what you wrote and tell me I'm wrong. Hint: "how do you survive if you can not do something this simple...."

The solution you have given me is to rewire the trailer and/or truck. I've agreed that that is a solution. What I have not agreed to do is follow through. And, the reason(s) is simple, if the hot wire is setup to go to the auxillary, which it appears to be, then what am I going to find already attached to #4 post when I open the plug? And, if I find something, already attached to #4, what then? That is a question I've asked a couple times now and has not been answered. Will there be something attached to #4? If the standard is to attached power to #4, why didn't the RV center that wired the truck and camper do what was standard? I don't know. I suspect the only way to find out is to open the plugs and find out....

Besides, like I already said, I can just unplug the wire from the camper and or put a switch on it and turn it off when I'm towing with the Charger and on when I'm towing with the F150. That solution doesn't make me incompetent or less of a person, it just means that I am not willing to rewire something that already works, just not with my new TV.
