I bought the four buck fan, just out of curiosity! It takes 2 D batteries and has 2 speeds. It's fairly quiet, now that I put a piece of tape on it to squelch the rattling of the cage. Looks like it will be fine, suspended on an over the door hook, from the top cabinet. Might not be big enough, but we'll see! Will keep you posted.

I just got two of these at lowes, the one at wallyworld doesn't seem to pivot in its frame, the one from lowes can be pivoted up and down about 15 degrees in its frame. I already use a 12 boom box on my toolbox at work powered off of an airplane 12v battery, I just connected the wires from the battery to the battery box contacts in the battery compartment of the radio. I had planned to power the fan that way, but now I am gonna have to look into taking the frame off the fan and just using the fan part by it self.
