Solar panels may get smaller in cheaper! Hopefully this technology will trickle down to the masses and we will be able to solar power our tiny trailers easier!

While there are a lot of exciting advances in PV panels there's no reason to wait to buy. Increased competition has dropped the price of SI crystalline solar panels dramatically. 80 watt solar panels are $150 (including shipping) on eBay right now. I paid $440 (plus shipping) for an 85 watt panel in 2006.
