...in all of these arguments there is one fact that has been sorely overlooked...This pump is not meant for pumping of water for human consumption and for no other reason BUT that one, I would steer very well clear of it...as an added aside...if possible I would avoid mixing ACV and water...I grew up with water wells...have also worked on them as a plumber and have been knocked on my butt more than once by some errant electrons...

Unpacking
When unpacking, check to make sure the parts listed on page 6 are inducted. If
any parts are missing or broken, please call Harbor Freight Tools at the number
on the cover of this manual.
Operation
Note: The National Electric Code requires that a ground fault interrupter (GPCI)
be used in the circuit supplying power to this Pump. Consult an electrician for
installation.
Note: This Pump is designed to be used in fountains no larger than 5 feet in
diameter. ^
Note: For proper cooling, only operate pump completely submerged. Maximum
submerged depth is 3 feet. *^
Warning! Do not let this pump ever run dry. ^»
Warning! Do not use this pump with hot water. Operate in fresh, clean water ^

"*^\ Warning! Always disconnect pump from power outlet before putting your hands in the fountain water or handling the pump.
Warning! Do not use pump if the cord is damaged.
1. Ptece the Connector Tube <<S) wet) below the top level of the fresh water to be
pumped.
2. Set the pump on a level spot in the fountain. The Suction Caps <H) must be
in contact with the fountain floor. Make sure the Pump is adequately supported.
If you use an additional hose and in-line filter (not included), do not use it or the
Connector Tube (G) to support trie pump.
3. Make sure the Pump is fully submerged. Adjust the flow rate by shifting the
Regulator (E). Making sure the pump is not plugged in, turn the grey switch on
the front of (he pump to the on position. Remove your hands from the water and
the pump. Plug in pump to begin operation.
