Lou,

I would ask Rock directly. He has a thread here: http://www.tnttt.com/viewtopic.php?t=30521&highlight=harbor+harbour+freight+solar where he is testing the same kit that you are looking to purchase.

The first thing that I see is that when set up, it has almost a 3' X 3' footprint when put together. It would be awkward for me so I would look for something different, either a single panel or two panels that I could fold together.

The second thing is that I would ask about the warrenty of the panel. There are panels out there with 30 year warrenty and I have seen some cheap ones with none. If you are in it for the long haul then get some with a warrenty.

To answer you question how does it compare. It is a little bigger and a little cheaper than what I am wanting. It could be exactly what you are looking for in a solar solution.

Thanks, I'm thinking a 3x3' foot print on top of tear, might just work out fine. If it could be hinged to fold up and stored in the tear while not camping might be the perfect way to keep recharging the batter. I will read the thread you directed me to, I'm very curious.
