Right marker light shorting out blinking on and off?

It's the little things in life.

My marker light is finally steady on. I took the easy way out first and grounded it to the trailer frame with a ring terminal. Works like a charm. Should the need arise in the future, I'll go to the slam dunk of grounding with a direct ground to a grounding box as most here have done.
